Some would gather money
Along the path of life,
Some would gather roses,
And rest from worldly strife.
But I would gather children
From among the thorns of sin,
I would seek their twinkling eyes,
And reveal mischievous grins.
For money cannot enter
In that land of endless day,
And roses that are gathered
Soon will wilt along the way.
But oh, the laughing children,
As I cross the sunset sea,
And the gates swing wide to heaven
I can take them in with me!

Adoption Labor Pains Poem from my Mother
LABOR I should know the drill, I’ve been here before.Twice I’ve felt these pains.So why this time am I so shocked,That I’m feeling these terrible pains.My time is getting near,The pains are closer, more intense. Still, it’s as if I’ve never been here, And I don’t know what to expect. Emotions running rampant, I feel like a pin ball machine. Loving, angry, sad, happy Ding ding ding …Stay out of my way, Oh, come here give me a hug. Where’s the tissue, the tears are flowing …Oh, here comes another pain!! It was so interesting to me... because a couple years ago I was living in the States...
now I am back to Germany... have two kids on my own... and deep in my heart I wish I could adopt also a child...

Those pictures are adorable! You always have wonderful portraits taken. Give them all hugs from their IN aunt and uncle and cousins. The girls were talking about you all just the other night.
Hey, Bekah! I lost all my bookmarks, and am slowly finding my old haunts. OHMYGOODNESS. The kids. They're so beautiful. Cannot believe how the girls just are growing like weeds. Loved the pics so much!
