Some would gather money
Along the path of life,
Some would gather roses,
And rest from worldly strife.
But I would gather children
From among the thorns of sin,
I would seek their twinkling eyes,
And reveal mischievous grins.
For money cannot enter
In that land of endless day,
And roses that are gathered
Soon will wilt along the way.
But oh, the laughing children,
As I cross the sunset sea,
And the gates swing wide to heaven
I can take them in with me!

Adoption Labor Pains Poem from my Mother
LABOR I should know the drill, I’ve been here before.Twice I’ve felt these pains.So why this time am I so shocked,That I’m feeling these terrible pains.My time is getting near,The pains are closer, more intense. Still, it’s as if I’ve never been here, And I don’t know what to expect. Emotions running rampant, I feel like a pin ball machine. Loving, angry, sad, happy Ding ding ding …Stay out of my way, Oh, come here give me a hug. Where’s the tissue, the tears are flowing …Oh, here comes another pain!! Bekah- He is SO CUTE!! Zeke and I just watched the video twice :) Love those squeaky shoes! Zeke did the same thing- ran from person to person for hugs. Gotta love those hugs. You have such a beautiful family!
